About The Ladies

Ladies

A LADIES TEAM representing Stoke City was formed in the summer of 2001… and they've been climbing the leagues ever since.

The inaugural season in the West Midlands League Division One ended in success as the team finished third in the table and gained promotion via the play-offs.

From there they consolidated their position in the West Midland Premier Division and began entering into the Staffordshire County Ladies Challenge Cup.

A first final was reached in 2007, which they won, and they have now lifted the trophy 10 times, including a 5-0 success over Sporting Khalsa Development in last season’s final.

Promotion to the Midland Women's Combination was secured in 2009 as the team finished as Champions, whilst an historic treble was earned in 2013 with the Ladies scooping the league championship, League Cup and County Cup.
That title saw the Ladies promoted to the FA Women’s Premier League (North) and they have more than held their own in the division, finishing fourth in the last two seasons.

Currently managed by Steve Swanwick, the team moved to their new home at Community Drive in the summer of 2016 and the Ladies continue to make positive strides both on and off the pitch, announcing a Development team for the first time in their history ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
