STOKE CITY’S success over the past four seasons has created a whole new generation of supporters . . . and they are once again offering an excellent opportunity for many young children to become fans of the Club.
Organisers of the hugely-popular City 7s scheme are now gearing themselves up for another busy campaign after a record-breaking response in 2011-12 when they managed to hit the magical 1,000-mark with members.
That far exceeded the previous best in terms of numbers and provided a clear indication of the interest in the Potters among young children as a result of their progress in reaching the FA Cup Final and qualifying for Europe.
The euphoria of reaching a first-ever FA Cup Final and then competing in Europe for the first time in 37 years captured the imagination of many people and that included a large number of children who will now be hoping to see Tony Pulis’ side build upon those achievements in what will be their fifth season in the Premier League.
The success of the City 7s scheme since its launch has contributed to more than 25% of Season Ticket holders now being under 21 years old.
For those celebrating their seventh birthday in the coming season, there is the chance to receive a very special present that will help them to follow the Club’s fortunes both now and hopefully for many more years to follow.
The Club is now taking City 7s applications for the 2012-13 season from those children whose seventh birthday falls between September 1st, 2012 and August 31st, 2013 and parents are invited to submit the attached form.
For just £10.00, the young supporter will receive the following present:
- A Stoke City home shirt for the 2012-13 season
- Two free tickets to see the Potters at the Britannia Stadium
- A £5.00 voucher to open or add to your Stoke City Save and Support account
These special gifts will be handed out at special presentation evenings at the Britannia Stadium for which the young fans and their parents will receive an invitation where they will get the chance to meet the club mascot Pottermus and a player.
The two tickets for one of City’s home matches will be one adult and one junior and the particular game will be decided by the Club.
