BTPL Disability

Stoke City Community Trust - BTPL - Disability

The Premier League and British Telecom have teamed up to introduce the Disability Fund, with the Stoke City Community Trust now working with these organisations and growing the number and shape of accessible activities.

We are working with a number of National Governing Bodies such as Boccia England, English Federation of Disability Sport, Volleyball England, Goalball UK, and others, to develop a wide range of activities that meet the needs of local children, young people and adults.

We currently deliver the pan disability Ability Counts football sessions at the Stoke City Dome on a Sunday evening and support the Stoke City Cerebral Palsy junior football team every Sunday morning and Tuesday evening with high quality coaching support.

We have aspirations to become a significant accessible activities provider locally, sub regionally and nationally building football activities for the blind and visually impaired, hearing loss and impaired, amputee and cerebral palsy populations.

We are working with Staffordshire FA, Action for Blind People, DeafVibe and Aiming High (Action for Children) to develop and deliver high quality activities that meet the needs and aspirations all the populations we reach.
