STOKE CITY can confirm that Charlie Adam will miss this weekend's Barclays Premier League encounter against Aston Villa . . . after picking up his fifth caution of the campaign against West Bromwich Albion.
The Scotland international was booked by referee Kevin Friend during the Potters' 1-0 victory at the Hawthorns on Saturday, meaning he automatically incurs a domestic one-match suspension.
The midfielder, who signed for the Club from Liverpool in the summer, has featured in every game since his arrival, however, he will sit this one out, before coming back into consideration for the home game against Everton on December, 15.
