The most frequently asked questions concerning your Stoke City Season Card or Club Card

Why can’t I purchase more than one ticket from my existing account?

Your Card can only store the details of one supporter, in the same way a paper ticket cannot be re used once a supporter has been through the turnstile. The Card can only be scanned once per game as the information is only relevant to the supporter who uses it.

The Card reflects the account details of the individual supporter, which is why only one match seat per fixture can be purchased and loaded onto a card at any one time.

How can I purchase additional match seats from my account?

You need to create additional accounts for each individual attending the game. You can create extra accounts using SCFCdirect.com for friends or family, then simply link their account to yours using the preferences button when you log in. Remember you only need to register additional accounts once and then seats will be automatically loaded onto the additional account holder’s cards when purchased.

The system will remember your linked accounts when you purchase seats in the future and will automatically suggest the purchase of additional seats at the checkout stage. You can accept or decline simply by clicking the button. Please note tickets for all fixtures are sold in different priority levels and Season Ticket holders may be able to buy a seat but non-Season Ticket holders may not.

Season Ticket holders cannot purchase extra tickets for a league game using their Season Card because, as a Season Ticket holder you already have a seat purchased for every Barclays Premier League home fixture.

Any additional purchases using the friends and family link will automatically be loaded onto the card bearing the additional account number. You will need to bring all these cards to gain entry to the stadium. Cards with account numbers which do not match the numbers used to purchase seats will not work at the turnstile scanner.

How do I create an additional account for a family or friend?

Simply register their new account online at www.scfcdirect.com, then, simply link this additional account via the friend and family preference under your account.

What is the friends and family option and how does this benefit me?

The “friends and family” option allows you to make multiple seat purchases through your account. If you have friends that wish to join you at a game, then simply create their account (once only) which lasts forever and then link this account to your account under preferences and you will never have to purchase seats individually again. There is no limit to the number of friends or family accounts that you can create.

What is the “Club Card” for?

The ClubCard is a Card for supporters who attend Stoke City home fixtures as a non-Season Ticket Holder. It allows the supporter entry to the stadium for matches purchased. It is also a way for non-Season Ticket holders to gain loyalty points on retail purchases and get money to spend back with the Club.

Why can’t I just purchase a ticket like I used to..?

Only one supporter’s details can be loaded onto a Season/ClubCard. Therefore each member of your party will need a Season/ClubCard to gain entry to the stadium on a matchday.
Any supporter attending for the first time will need to complete an account registration either online at SCFCdirect.com, at the Ticket Office, at one of the Club Stores in Hanley or Newcastle or by calling the Ticket Office on (01782) 367599.

A large number of supporters have an account in place already and in these cases the account simply needs activating. If you are unsure then please call the Ticket Office and a Club Card can be issued immediately without the need to register again.

What is the process of registration if I don’t have an account?

I have a Season Card but I can’t buy a ticket for my son/friend…?

How do I ensure that my Access Card works on a matchday? Where can I check my account?

If you purchase a seat for a match online or over the phone then you will receive an automated e-mail detailing your account number and seat details. It is therefore important to have an up to date valid e-mail address on your account. If you purchase at the Ticket Office then the till receipt will show your seat details.

If you are unsure, make a note of the account numbers for any additional cards you have as it’s these cards only which will be granted access to the stadium on a matchday.

I’m thinking of travelling to a game but I live abroad, will my access card be posted to me?

No, Cards are not posted overseas, they are placed for collection at the stadium. Any new overseas supporters purchasing for the first time must ensure that they collect their ClubCard at the Ticket Office at the stadium. These will be available for collection from the moment they are processed and will stay there until collected. They will be at the Ticket Office until two hours before kick-off on a matchday and then from the Satellite Ticket Office located on the Novus Stand next to Delilah’s Bar until kick off. Once this is collected you can keep using the card for as many matches as you like.
