Referee announced for Southampton trip...

LEE PROBERT will take charge of Stoke City’s final game of the 2016/17 season against Southampton on Sunday.

The Potters travel to St Mary’s this weekend as they draw the curtain on the current Premier League campaign.

Probert will officiate his second City game in three weeks after overseeing the Club’s goalless draw with West Ham at the bet365 Stadium at the end of April.

The referee has spent the majority of this season holding the whistle in the Football League and returned to the top flight for Watford’s win home over Sunderland last month.

The experienced official has taken charge of 30 games this season, three in the Premier League, and has dished out 66 yellow and four red cards.
