ST. LUKE'S PRIMARY SCHOOL had the company of Marko Arnautovic yesterday when he dropped in as part of the Club's City 7s scheme.
The Austrian forward visited the school in Silverdale to help hand out goody bags to children in year two who have been enrolled into the unique membership by local production company HSL Entertainment Management.
They received a pack including a 2013-14 home shirt, two tickets to a game at the Britannia Stadium, a team photo and a recent #pottersmag matchday magazine.
Marko also had photographs with the youngsters and was delighted to see the smiles on their faces, saying, "It is nice to be able to come into a school and meet the young supporters.
"They are the next generation and they look up to us.
"It is important for children to get into sports from a young age because it is good for their health."
The event followed on from other recent company-sponsored enrolments of youngsters into City 7s where Stephen Ireland, Oussama Assaidi, Glenn Whelan and Marc Wilson have also appeared at schools across the region.
