Encouraging sales for the Potters' curtain-raiser...

STOKE CITY'S 2014/15 Barclays Premier League curtain-raiser against Midlands rivals Aston Villa next month is on course to be a sell-out.

The Potters play host to Paul Lambert's side on Saturday 16th August at the Britannia Stadium – a game in which the Club's five new acquisitions could make their league debuts.

Tickets for the fixture went on general sale on Wednesday morning with supporters quick to secure themselves a seat for the season opener.

These encouraging sales, together with the Villains selling out their entire allocation, suggests the game could prove to be a full sell-out.

Purchase now to avoid missing out - online via scfcdirect.com, by phone on (01782) 367599 or by visiting the Britannia Stadium Ticket Office or the Club Store at the intu Potteries shopping centre.
