JLS headline the Britannia Stadium 'Big Event' on Sunday

THE BRITANNIA Stadium plays host to a star-studded occasion on Sunday . . . with pop sensations JLS undoubtedly the biggest of all the attractions.

A seven-hour entertainment extravaganza features stars from the worlds of pop, television and football, rounded off by the performance from JLS.

The Britannia Stadium 'Big Event' gets underway at midday and will include a Celebrity Football Match, a Dance Competition and live music.

Prior to the main activities getting into full swing inside the stadium, the added attraction of a fun fair will open at 11.00am in the North Car Park.

It means there is something for everyone at this event building up to the moment when JLS will take to the stage at 6.35pm to perform many of their hits.

The Celebrity Football Match sees former Potters stars Mark Stein, Wayne Biggins, Mickey Thomas and Steve Simonsen return to the Britannia Stadium.

They will be up against a LivSmarter All Stars XI which includes familiar names from many of the soaps, namely Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

11.00am – Fun Fair opens outside the Britannia Stadium

12.00pm – Turnstiles open for Big Event

12.30pm – Live Music (Sound Casino, Tom Machin, Neomantix, In The Cards

2.20pm – Dance Competition

3.00pm – LivSmarter All Stars v Stoke City Legends

4.45pm – Dance Competition

5.20pm – Live Music (Stubblemelt)

5.50pm – Live Music (Charlotte Meldrum)

6.00pm – Live Music Support Act (The Indieannas)

6.35pm – Live Music Headline Act (JLS)

Admission prices start from £8.00 for under-17s and £16.00 for adults.
