THE DATE of Stoke City’s annual Golf Day is looming… and there are only a limited number of spaces left for one of the most popular events on the Club’s calendar.
With less than six weeks to go until the event tees off at Wychwood Park Golf Club, interested parties are being advised to book up soon to avoid disappointment.
The package, which includes breakfast baps, tea and coffee on arrival and a three-course carvery buffet with entertainment, is priced at £500 + VAT for a four-ball team.
After a practise on the driving range and 18 holes of golf, the winners from the match-play competition will be awarded their prizes at a presentation hosted by former BBC Radio Stoke commentator John Acres and a European Golf Tour professional.
As part of the Club’s 150th anniversary celebrations, members of the first-team squad and coaching staff, along with some City stars from days gone by, will be taking part at the event on Wednesday, March 20th.
