STOKE CITY Under-18s' FA Youth Cup Fourth Round match against Huddersfield Town will take place at the Britannia Stadium next Wednesday (7pm).
There had been a chance that the game would have to move venue after the scheduling of the first-team's FA Cup Third Round replay against Crystal Palace, but the fixtures will now be played on successive nights (15th/16th January) at the Club's main ground.
The youngsters will welcome the Yorkshire club after thrashing Brighton & Hove Albion 4-0 in their Third Round clash last month thanks to goals from Jack Nardiello (2), James Alabi and Kris Scott.
Huddersfield themselves progressed after a comfortable 3-0 triumph at Hartlepool United.
City have a long history in the FA Youth Cup, having reached the Final in 1984 before losing to this weekend’s first-team opponents Everton.
Last year, they were eliminated in the Fifth Round after losing 4-0 to eventual finalists Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
They have met the Terriers once before in the competition, with the Potters being defeated 2-0 in the Second Round in 1976.
Entry to the game will cost £3 for adults and £1 for Under 17s/Over 65s.
