Young people receive recognition after campaigning for mental health awareness in Stoke-on-Trent

YOUNG PEOPLE received recognition for their work in raising awareness of mental health in Stoke-on-Trent at Stoke City's game with Chelsea at the weekend.

The youngsters were invited to the Britannia Stadium for the 3-2 victory against the Blues after training to become ambassadors as part of the Club's National Citizen Service.

Head of Community Adrian Hurst was also presented with a cheque for the NCS programme from charity The Cambian Group, with the project also aiding charities MIND and the MACCAS Project.

The Club's Community Trust would like to thank all the inspirational young volunteers for supporting such a vital cause, and would encourage anyone who is interested in getting involved in the NCS Programme to watch the video below.
