Summer day trip for local group funded

STOKE CITY'S Community Fund once again proved to be a huge helping hand this week as it funded a local group's summer day trip.

And whilst all Stoke City supporters will be offered free coach travel to Barclays Premier League away games this season, it was a similar story for the Not Just Mums organisation in Trent Vale.

They approached the Club for help with funding a day trip to Llandudno for parents and children, with their request being approved as the first hand-out of the new 2013-14 season.

Club mascot Pottermus visited the children and parents at St John's Community Centre in Trent Vale to send them on their way, and is pictured alongside mum Anna Malborn and her son.

Funding and donations for projects and initiatives in the local area are currently available between £100 and £1,000, whilst newly-formed groups can apply for funding of up to £500.
