Manager hopes team will be roared on by capacity crowd

TONY PULIS wants the Britannia Stadium to be rocking again on Saturday . . . and has urged supporters to snap up the remaining tickets for the visit of Everton.

The Club still have a significant number of tickets available for the meeting with David Moyes’ Champions League hopefuls as City look to continue their recent good form.

Pulis knows that his side face a tough test as they take on an Everton side which climbed back into fourth place in the Premier League table with their win over Tottenham.

Therefore, he is hoping that his players will have the backing of a capacity crowd to boost their hopes of extending a  six-match unbeaten run over the past month.

“Everton are a top, top team enjoying an excellent season, so it’s going to be really tough for us and we’ll need our supporters as much as ever,” said City’s manager.

“The fans should be proud of the effort and commitment shown by the players in two local derbies away from home in which took four points and kept two clean sheets.

“As ever, they can play their part now that we’re back at the Britannia. Hopefully, the place will be rocking because we’ll need everyone to be at their very best.”

Tickets are on general sale for the visit of Everton and Category A prices apply for this match.

These can be booked online at or by contacting the Ticket Office hotline on 01782 367599.

Alternatively, they can be purchased in person at the Britannia Stadium Ticket Office or at the Club Stores situated in the Potteries Shopping Centre in Hanley and the Roebuck Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
