City youngster agrees to loan move

YOUNG Belgian prospect Florent Cuvelier has today agreed a loan deal with Championship side Peterborough United until the end of the season.

The highly-rated midfielder, who penned a new two-year deal with the Club last summer, is eligible to feature for Posh in each of their crucial eight remaining league games, starting against Cardiff at London Road this weekend.

Cuvelier, who moved to the Britannia Stadium from Portsmouth in 2011, scored seven goals in 36 League appearances for Walsall during his two loan spells with the Club, at the tail end of last season, and the opening part of the current campaign.

This move is the first opportunity for the youngster to feature in the Championship, and he will be looking to impress for Darren Ferguson’s side as they look to retain their status in the second tier of English football.
