Brek Shea shows his support in event held for youngsters at Britannia Stadium

BREK SHEA showed his support for the battle against racism in football in an event at the Britannia Stadium this week.

The USA winger joined local schoolchildren for an educational event organised in partnership with anti-racism educational charity Show Racism The Red Card.

Youngsters from the Discovery Academy in Bentilee and Ravensmead Primary School in Bignall End took part and watched a special screening of an educational film before asking their questions to a panel of guests.

Shea also fielded questions about the subject upon his arrival, as well the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.

"Obviously I'm against racism so it's nice to come and support an event like this," he said.

"It's good that that kids are learning about racism at an early age through the schools."
