Manager reveals incoming transfer business is done...

MARK HUGHES insists the signing of Victor Moses signals the end of Stoke City’s incoming transfer activity this window.

The 23-year-old winger checked-in at the Britannia Stadium yesterday on a season-long loan from Chelsea, taking the tally of players to have arrived at the Club this summer to six.

Moses, who watched from the stands yesterday as City slipped to a 1-0 opening day defeat at the hands of Aston Villa, will be hoping to make his debut in next Sunday’s Sky clash with Hull at the KC Stadium.

Hughes was delighted to land the Nigerian international but doesn’t expect to make any further additions to his squad.

“It’s fair to say, I think our business is done now,” he revealed. “We’re very happy that Victor has come to the Club. He’s a player with a great deal of potential but he hasn’t played as much football as he would have wanted to in recent years.

“He’s desperate to play and that’s why he has come to us. He’s a good young player and will bring pace and power.

“One or two players may be leaving the Club but I don’t envisage anyone else coming in. We’re done now – it’s a case of working with the group that we’ve got.”
