JONATHAN WALTERS, Glenn Whelan and Marc Wilson have all been selected in the latest Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their World Cup Qualifying encounters against Germany and Kazakhstan this month.
The Stoke City trio have retained their places in the squad despite the recent departure of Italian boss Giovanni Trapattoni.
Caretaker Manager Noel King has however made a number of changes to the squad in a bid to inject fresh life into their qualifying campaign, which now looks dead following defeats against Austria and Sweden last time out.
Walters, Whelan and Wilson all featured heavily under Trapattoni, and will be looking to keep their spots in the side as they seek maximum points from two difficult encounters.
Anything other than back-to-back victories will mathematically end their already slim hopes of featuring in the World Cup Finals in Brazil next summer.
The dates of the matches are as follows:
Germany v Republic of Ireland (Cologne / Friday 11 October, 7:45pm)
Republic of Ireland v Kazakhstan (Dublin / Tuesday 15 October, 7:45pm)
