Sporting Kansas City 1 (Miller 92)
Stoke City 1 (Tonge 84)
93: The full-time whistle goes and it finishes all square. Stoke, in truth, should have won the game, and whilst the last minute leveller will disappoint the team, they can take a lot of positives from the encounter. That incident rounds off a hectic 12 day stay in the US, and next on the agenda is a double ehader against Torquay and Yeovil early next week. We look forward to bringing you coverage of those games on Monday and Tuesday. We will see you then!
92: Two minutes in to stoppage time and Kansas grab a fortuitous leveller as Begovic clears the ball, it hits Kyle Miller on the head and drops back over the Bosnian and into the back of the net. Blue confetti sprays out everywhere and the home supporters go wild!! What a freak incident.
89: That goal looks to be the decider. The tempo of the game has dramatically slowed down now. A little goalmouth scramble in the Stoke box causes a brief moment of panic, however, the referee pulls play up for a foul on Begovic.
83: Penalty to Stoke as Tonge is pulled back after brilliantly beating his man in the box. The former Sheffield United man steps up and strokes home. 1-0 Stoke.
77: Walters off, Tonge on. Just Higginbotham remaining now; oh, and of course Sorensen.
73: Pulis makes yet another change as Arismendi comes on for the tireless Whitehead. Just over quarter of an hour to go here.
69: A dangerous inswinging free-kick just evades Kansas striker Bunbury. A close shave for Stoke. Etherington off with Delap coming on as his replacement.
65: Sidibe replaces Crouch.
64: Stoke should be a goal or two up now as Jerome bursts through and forces Kronberg into a great save down to his right. The striker did well there to brush off the defender and rifle an effort goalwards from a difficult angle.
63: Another chance goes abegging for Stoke as Crouch capitalises on a defensive mix up, but he can only warm the hands of Sporting stopper Eric Kronberg from 10-yards.
58: Whitehead flights an inviting ball across the 6-yard box, but Crouch just fails to make contact with it, which would have certainly brought with it the opening goal of the game.
55: Jamie Ness comes on at the expense of Palacios. A good workout for the Honduran there, who has impressed me on this tour.
53: Etherington delightfully feeds Walters through on goal, but the Irishman's touch lets him down and the 'keeper is able to rush out and block his effort at goal. A glorious chance there.
50: Jones off, Jerome on. Second change of the night for Stoke.
48: Stoke got the half back underway, and it is as you were with the exception of Huth replacing Shawcross.
46: Huth is back on for Shawcross. That is the only change.
Half-Time: Huth is out there training during the break so he must be ok. Still waiting on confirmation of any changes. Doesn't appear that any will take place just yet.
45: Well, there goes the half-time whistle. It's all square here at the impressive LIVESTRONG Sporting Park.
38: A spell of possession in the middle of the field for the hosts. The game has gone a little stale.
33: Two more attempts for Kansas as Thomas sees an effort deflected wide, before the resulting corner culminates in Markovic heading straight into the palms of Begovic.
31: Corner for Kansas. Wilson does well to block Dom Dwyer's attempted centre.
28: Almost a wonder goal from Soony Saad midway through the first half, as he sees a 30 yard strike cannon back off the post, with Begovic beaten. A lucky escape for the visitors there.
26: Wilson bursts down the left flank, cuts inside and drills an effort across goal. It hits a defender and floats out for a corner.
23: The Potters are pressurising the hosts now as Walters delivers a teasing ball to the backpost towards Crouch, and he glances his header off the top of the bar with Jones free in the middle had the England man opted to play the ball into his path.
21: A great defence splitting ball from Palacios to Jones, who rifles an effort inches wide of the post an into the side netting. That would have been a superb goal for Stoke.
18: Just as I mention Huth, he is taken off with Ryan Shotton coming on as his replacement. I can only imagine he has felt a tweak as he doesn't seem to be in any serious pain. Let's hope it's a just a precaution.
17: Teal Bunbury, who undertook a trial at the Britannia Stadium a few years ago, whips an effort wide of Begovic's post after Huth pressurised him into an early effort/
14: Walters bursts through the middle with a darting run and fires an effort goalwards, however, it is dragged wide of the goal.
8: Kansas look a decent outfit already, but I suppose we shouldn't be surprised at that given the fact that they are challenging for the MLS Eastern conference title.
5: Walters goes down after a clash of knees. He looks ok though thankfully and he is back up and running.
4: First opportunity of the evening goes to Kansas, as Konrad Warzycha heads wide after rising unmarked inside the area.
1: The game gets under way, with Stoke kicking from left to right from the position we sit high up in the press box. Come on Stoke.
19:34: Thanks for joining us, the national anthems of both England and the United States are currently taking place. Kick-off coming up.
