Supporters urged to help honour former Stoke City kitman Neil Baldwin

THE BBC are making a film about Neil Baldwin, who was kit man in Lou Macari's time as Stoke City manager when he took the Potters from their lowest ever position to Division Two Champions, Autoglass Trophy glory and the near-miss agony of the Division One play-offs.

As well as kitman, 'Nello', as he was fondly known, was team joker and this is the finest example of his work (he's the one in the kilt).

Lou describes Neil as his best ever signing and you'll all know Neil because he's at every match.

Now, no film should be made about a Potters legend without showcasing the Club's fans and their passion for what the Club means to them. The BBC agree... and they want to film fans at the Britannia Stadium singing big this Saturday.

TV rights mean they are unable to film during the match, so they are planning to film before the match action against Fulham gets underway.

The film's producers are asking the people who keep this Club strong, particularly the Boothen End, to break their routine and take their seats 15 minutes earlier than normal on Saturday and blow them away. All they want is a chorus of "There's only one Neil Baldwin."
