STOKE CITY have been allocated ball number four in this evening’s Capital One Cup Quarter-Final draw, having overcome Birmingham City in Round 4 on penalties on Tuesday night.

The Potters are in the hat for the last eight for only the second time since 1979, with the one appearance since then coming during the 2008/09 campaign, in which a late Nathan Ellington penalty secured Derby a 1-0 success at the Britannia Stadium.
Ball numbers for the Quarter-Final draw are as follows:
2. Leicester City
3. Manchester United
4. Stoke City
5. West Ham United
6. Newcastle United / Manchester City
7. Sunderland / Southampton
8. Tottenham Hotspur / Hull City
All ties are due to be played during the week commencing 16th December 2013. There will be two live ties selected, one per night, on the 17th and 18th December.
Please note, the Sunderland v Southampton Round 4 tie will be played on Wednesday 6th November 2013.
