MARK HUGHES made just two changes to his starting line-up for the Potters final pre-season friendly against Bundesliga side SC Freiburg on Saturday afternoon.
The Welshman opted to stick with nine of the players that started in the 2-0 triumph over Real Betis on Wednesday, with Peter Odemwingie and Marc Muniesa the only players to come into the eleven.
The Nigerian international was a like-for-like replacement for Austrian ace Marko Arnautovic out on the left hand side of a front four that also comprised of Stephen Ireland, Bojan and Mame Diouf.
Asmir Begovic lined up in goal for a second successive game, ushering a back four that comprised of Phil Bardsley, Ryan Shawcross, Marc Wilson and Spanish starlet Munies, who replaced Erik Pieters at left-back.
Glenn Whelan and Steven Nzonzi occupied the two holding midfield spots, with the aforementioned Odemwingie, Ireland, Bojan and former Hanover frontman Diouf occupying the more attacking roles.
Stoke City: Begovic; Bardsley, Shawcross, Wilson, Muniesa; Whelan, Nzonzi; Bojan, Ireland, Odemwingie; Diouf. Subs: Sorensen, Pieters, Huth, Arnautovic, Adam, Walters, Cameron, Sidwell, Teixeira, Crouch.
