Potters midfielder features as Three Lions are held

WILSON PALACIOS played the full ninety minutes for Honduras as they held England to a goalless draw in Miami on Saturday.

The Stoke City midfielder was part of the Central American nation's team that, whilst not overly threatening the England goal, successfully nullified the attacking impetus of the Three Lions at the other end.

The 29-year-old, who was joined by his brother Jerry for the final fifteen minutes of the match, slotted in at right back when Brayan Beckeles was sent off for two bookable challenges midway through the second half.

Like England, it was Honduras' final warm-up game ahead of the World  Cup, with France their first opposition of Group E in Porte Alegre on Sunday.
