STOKE CITY can today confirm changes to their squad numbers for the 2012-13 season.
New signings Geoff Cameron, Michael Kightly and Jamie Ness have been allocated numbers, while winger Jermaine Pennant and midfielder Wilson Palacios have been given new ones.
American international Cameron will wear number two, former Rangers midfielder takes over the vacant number 14 and winger Kightly has the number 21 following his move from Wolves.
Pennant will wear the famous number seven shirt worn by the likes Sir Stanley Matthews and Terry Conroy in the pas, while Palacios takes over the number eight jersey in the changes announced ahead of City’s opening Barclays Premier League match away to Reading on Saturday.
All other players will continue with the same numbers that were used during the 2011-12 campaign.
The Club has reminded supporters that it cannot accept any liability concerning printing of numbers and names on replica shirts if players are either transferred in the future or have their squad number changed.

Those fans buying one of the replica shirts will be entered into a special draw celebrating the Club’s 150th anniversary this season.
