Supporters Council Elections Confirmed

STOKE CITY'S Supporters Council are looking to fill a number of places on the representative body as part of the annual re-election process.
 
The Council has the following General Seat vacancies:
- 4 General Seats (2 years)
- 2 General Seats (1 year)
 
In addition there are also five Specialist Seats also up for grabs:
- Corporate member
- Season Card holder in the family area
- Season Card holder in the Boothen End
- Season Card holder in the Novus Stand
- Season Card holder in the Marston's Pedigree Stand
 
All Season Card holders or Members standing for election in the General or Specialist Seats must submit an election statement of no more than 250 words, on why they wish to join the Council.
 
The deadline for applications for a General Seat is midday on Friday 23rd May and if there are more than six candidates a two week voting period will open on Wednesday 28th May 2014.
 
Voting will then close at midday on Wednesday 11th June 2014.
 
Once the General Seats have been decided, the process of seeking applications for the five specialist seats will commence.
 
Any Season Card holder/member who is unsuccessful in securing a General Seat will automatically qualify as a candidate for a Specialist Seat. (Subject to the Season Card holder/member being registered in any of the specialist areas that are listed below).
 
- Corporate member
- Season Card holder in the family area.
- Season Card holder in the Boothen End
- Season Card holder in the Novus Stand
- Season Card holder in the Marston's Pedigree Stand
 
Those fans putting themselves forward for the elections can submit their statements of no more than 250 words to supporterliaison@stokecityfc.com or they can do so by delivering it by hand to the Britannia Stadium clearly marked 2014 Supporters Council elections.

NB: In the General Seat election supporters will be able to vote for the maximum of two candidates.
