MARK HUGHES has made seven changes to his Stoke City starting line-up for this afternoon’s Premier League clash with West Ham at the Boleyn Ground (kick-of 3pm).
However, Kenwyne Jones is rewarded for his midweek hat-trick heroics by retaining his place in the front line.
Jones, whose treble floored Walsall and fired the Potters into the third round of the Capital One Cup, is preferred to Peter Crouch for the game in East London.
Asmir Begovic, Erik Pieters, Geoff Cameron, Jon Walters, Steve Nzonzi, Matthew Etherington and Marc Wilson return to the starting line-up.
Thomas Sorensen, Marc Muniesa, Glenn Whelan and Jermaine Pennant drop to the bench, while there’s no place in the matchday 18 for Andy Wilkinson, Brek Shea and Wilson Palacios.
Oussama Assaidi, who made his debut against Walsall as a substitute after joining the Potters on a season-long loan from Liverpool in midweek, is again on the bench.
Team: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Pieters, Walters, Adam, Wilson, Nzonzi, Etherington, Jones. Subs: Sorensen, Muniesa, Whelan, Pennant, Assaidi, Crouch, Jerome.
