STOKE CITY’s Under-18s will face a home tie against Huddersfield Town in the FA Youth Cup Fourth Round after the draw was made on Friday afternoon.
The Potters youngsters will welcome the Yorkshire club after thrashing Brighton & Hove Albion 4-0 in their Third Round clash last Tuesday thanks to goals from Jack Nardiello (2), James Alabi and Kris Scott.
Huddersfield themselves progressed after a comfortable 3-0 triumph at Hartlepool United.
City have a long history in the FA Youth Cup, having reached the Final in 1984 before losing to this weekend’s first-team opponents Everton.
Last year, they were eliminated in the Fifth Round after losing 4-0 to eventual finalists Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
They have met the Terriers once before in the competition, with the Potters being defeated 2-0 in the Second Round in 1976.
The venue and exact date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course, with it being scheduled to take place in the week before January 19th.
