First Team, Under-21s and Under-18s all in action

STOKE CITY continue their pre-season preparations with a game against Wrexham this weekend following yesterday's return from a successful tour of the USA.

Mark Hughes' side recovered from the heat in Houston to record 1-0 and 2-0 victories over FC Dallas and Philadelphia Union respectively, and now face the Welshman's home-town team at the Racecourse Ground on Sunday (kick off 3.00pm).

Hughes will be without the services of Brek Shea following the injury that the US international suffered in the win against Philadelphia, but he should see fellow winger Jermaine Pennant return to the first-team fold once again after he was forced to sit out the stateside trip.

Admission at the Racecourse is pay on the gate with entry priced at £10 for adults, £5 for under-21s & over 60s and £2 for under-16s.

Elsewhere, the Under-21s will face Macclesfield Town at Moss Rose on Saturday, and not the first team as incorrectly reported in some media outlets.

Glyn Hodges' squad make the short trip to Cheshire for a 3.00pm kick off and admission there is priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Wrexham will also be the opponents for John Perkin's Under-18s team, meanwhile, with the young Dragons travelling to Clayton Wood for an 11.00am kick off on Saturday.
