STOKE CITY are urging fans to allow extra time for their journey to the Britannia Stadium for tomorrow’s Premier League encounter with Aston Villa.
The region’s road network looks set to be busy as the great Christmas ‘Get Away’ kicks in and people head out on last-minute festive shopping expeditions
Both the Club and Staffordshire Police suggest supporters set off earlier than normal to ensure they arrive at the stadium in plenty of time ahead of the 3 o’clock kick-off.
Meanwhile, the Club would like to apologise for the delays some fans may have experienced on the roads around the Britannia Stadium before Wednesday’s Carling Cup Quarter-Final with Manchester United.
There were, however, mitigating circumstances with not only severe weather conditions but also two road traffic accidents close to the stadium. There was also a problem on the West Coast railway line.
Tickets for the visit of Villa are available from scfcdirect.com
