STOKE CITY’s Under-18s match against West Ham United, scheduled for tomorrow, has been called off due to the adverse weather conditions.
The Premier League Group One clash was set to take place at Clayton Wood Training Ground at 12pm, but has fallen foul to the snowy conditions that have put sporting events in jeopardy across the whole country.
City’s youngsters were hoping to have the opportunity to bounce back from Wednesday night’s 3-2 extra-time defeat to Huddersfield Town in the FA Youth Cup.
They will now have to wait until Saturday January 26th for their next fixture, when they make the league trip to Staffordshire rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Under-16s game against the Hammers has also been postponed.
