STOKE CITY Academy's fixture run continues to be hit in the aftermath of last week's weather... with the Elite Development Squad's match against Bolton Wanderers this evening the latest to be called off.
The game, scheduled for a 7pm kick-off at Nantwich Town's Weaver Stadium, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch after an inspection this morning.
It follows last week's call-off at Reading, while the Under-18s' schedule has also been disrupted with matches against West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers falling victim to the weather.
The Under-21s are due to play their next fixture away at Tranmere Rovers in the Central League Cup next Tuesday, while the Under-18s will make the long trip to Sunderland this Saturday.
