GLENN WHELAN will start for the Potters against West Ham United this evening after being passed fit following a hamstring injury.
The central midfielder was a doubt for the televised clash after aggravating the injury in the Republic of Ireland's 1-0 friendly defeat for Greece last week.
Jonathan Walters and Charlie Adam also make the starting line-up after recovering from minor knocks.
The news means City remain unchanged from last Saturday's 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers, which was their second Premier League win of the campaign.
Team to face West Ham United: Begovic; Cameron, Huth, Shawcross (c), Wilkinson; Walters, Whelan, Nzonzi, Etherington; Adam; Crouch. Substitutes: Sorensen (GK), Shotton, Upson, Palacios, Kightly, Jones, Jerome.
