Aston Villa Statto

THE STATTO is back bringing you all of the facts and stats to impress your friends and family ahead of Saturday's clash at Villa Park.

FOUR'SOME': Victory for Stoke at Villa Park would culminate in a fourth consecutive Premier League win, having beaten Fulham, Newcastle and West Brom.

BOGEY TEAM: Tony Pulis' side haven't lost in any of their last five games against Aston Villa. They have won one and drawn four. The side's only loss to Villa in the Premier League came during the 2009/10 campaign when John Carew's header settled a close encounter.

MAKE IT A DOUBLE: Stoke's victory at the Hawthorns last weekend means the Potters are chasing back-to-back Premier League away wins for only the second time. The only other time this feat has been achieved was last season, with victories against Everton (Goodison Park) and Wolves (Molineux).

FORM TEAM: No side has accumulated more points than Stoke over the last five games. Four wins and a draw has culminated in 13 points being picked up over this time. Manchester United are the closest having picked up twelve points in their five games.

SUPER STOPPER: Asmir Begovic has seven clean sheets to his name this season, more than any other top-flight goalkeeper. Manchester City and England 'keeper Joe Hart is in second place with six.

VILLA PARK VICTORY: Aston Villa's last defeat against the Potters on home turf came during the 1987/88 campaign. Phil Heath scored the only goal of the game for the visitors.

A RESOUNDING WIN: Stoke's biggest ever victory at Villa Park came in 1963, as goals from Peter Dobing (2) and Jackie Mudie secured a 3-1 win for Tony Waddington's side.

BENT-EKE: Christian Benteke and Darren Bent have played only 24 minutes of football together in the last 10 league games. Manager Paul Lambert has preferred Benteke in a lone role since the 4-1 defeat at Southampton in September.

EARLY STARTERS: The Potters have scored the most goals out of any Premier League side in the opening 15 minutes this season (29%) whilst the Villains have recorded the least (just the 1).

BROKEN HOME: Aston Villa have won just three of their last 20 league games at Villa Park, keeping a clean sheet in only five of those matches.
