STOKE CITY goalkeeper Asmir Begovic helped Bosnia-Herzegovina round off their preparations for their first ever appearance at the World Cup finals with a convincing win over Brazilian outfit Santos' Under-21 team.

Bosnia ran out 5-1 winners in a game played on the island of Guaruja, which is situated just off the coastal city of Santos in Sao Paulo state.

Stuttgart's Vedad Ibisevic netted twice, while Izet Hajrovic of Galatasaray, Senad Lulic of Lazio and Edin Visca of Istanbul also helped themselves to goals.

Begovic and his team-mates are now training their sights on their opening group game against Argentina on Sunday.
