Big Names For 'Big Event'

Thumbnail
DAVE REGIS and Ashley Taylor Dawson are the latest high-profile figures to sign up for the Britannia Stadium Big Event on 2nd June, sponsored by Listers and Q-Railing.

Ex-Potters striker Regis will line-up for the Stoke City Legends against the LivSmarter Allstars, which will include Hollyoaks heart-throb Dawson.

The 31 year old has played Darren Osborne in the hit Channel 4 soap since 1999, making him one of the longest serving cast members.

He will link-up with Coronation Street stars Alan Halsall, Chris Fountain and Ryan Thomas in the LivSmarter Allstars side that will face Regis, Mark Stein and Steve Simonsen, who will be among the ex-Potters heroes playing for the Legends.

The Allstars-Legends game is part of the build-up to the undoubted highlight of the fun-packed day, a performance by JLS.

The world's biggest boy band will treat those attending the Big Event to a selection of their greatest hits, having had five UK number ones since they emerged as runners-up on the television reality show The X-Factor.

After five years of phenomenal success, JLS recently announced they will be splitting up at the end of this year, creating a clamour for opportunities to see them perform before going their separate ways, which is certain to be the case in the Potteries.
