STOKE THE FIRE // The Potters' two goal haul at Old Trafford on Saturday was the first time that more than one goal has been scored away from home in the league since the 2-0 win over QPR in April.

PLAYING AWAY // Peter Crouch's last four goals for Stoke have all come away from home - at Manchester United, Tranmere Rovers, Southampton and QPR.

BOLTON BLUES // Birmingham captain Paul Robinson featured in the Bolton Wanderers side that Stoke beat 5-0 at Wembley Stadium in the 2011 FA Cup Semi Final.

MISSING OUT // Ex-Birmingham players Cameron Jerome and Jack Butland will both miss out on a return to face their former club due to loan spells at Crystal Palace and Barnsley respectively.

PAYING THE PENALTY // Stoke have won their last two penalty shoot outs - which were both at home - whilst they have lost their last two away shoot outs in the competition.
