THE CHAIRMAN'S Annual Charity Ball is set to reach the magical six-figure mark with its fund-raising this year . . . and local community projects in North Staffordshire are set to benefit from the latest occasion.

Stoke City have announced that the event will take place on Friday 9th November when the Club will be endeavouring to add a significant amount of money to the £96,000 which has been raised for some worthy causes.

The proceeds of this event, which will have a 'Black Tie with a hint of Red' theme, will go to the Stoke City Community Fund.

This recently-established Fund is a grants scheme which offers support to a range of local community-based projects.

Over the years, the money generated by the Chairman's Ball has gone to the Club's nominated charities in that particular season, but now the focus of attention is very much on helping projects within the local community.

Tickets for this grand occasion include a champagne reception, three-course dinner, entertainment and the charity auction.

A table of 10 in the Tony Waddington Suite at the Britannia Stadium is priced at £1,000 including VAT and these can be booked by contacting Della Birchall on 01782 592212 or by emailing [email protected]
