STOKE CITY will be roared on by a new crop of young supporters when they take on Norwich City in the Barclays Premier League at the Britannia Stadium.

The Club staged the latest of their presentation nights to City 7s members this week when Republic of Ireland international Glenn Whelan was the special guest.

Whelan handed out the special seventh birthday presents to young fans when they packed into the Waddington Suite with their families for the event.

The 29-year-old midfielder took part in a question and answer session as part of the evening's proceedings before they received a gift pack that included a replica shirt and two tickets for one of City's two remaining home matches in the Premier League.

City 7s, the Club's flagship scheme of their initiatives to develop the supporter base, has enjoyed another hugely-successful season with large numbers joining up.

This success story has contributed to a rise in the number of young fans now following the Club's fortunes with more 25% of Season Ticket holders under the age of 21.

For just £10.00, the young supporter receives a Stoke City home shirt, two tickets for a match at the Britannia Stadium and a £5.00 voucher to open or add to a Stoke City Save and Support account.
