STOKE CITY'S Under-18s secured a second consecutive victory on Saturday morning following a hard fought 1-0 win against Middlesbrough at Clayton Wood.

Yusuf Coban's second half strike, the German forward's third in two games, was enough to claim all three points for John Perkins' young charges following a 7-1 victory against Liverpool the weekend before.

The squad will now look ahead to welcoming Newcastle United to the Club's state-of-the-art training ground on Saturday morning before hitting the road for their first away match of the season on Saturday, August 13th at Manchester United.
