Dawson Joins Carlisle On Loan

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD midfielder Lucas Dawson has joined League One outfit Carlisle United on loan.

The 20-year-old has signed on at Brunton Park until the end of the season and links up with former Potters midfielder Graham Kavanagh who is now in charge of the Cumbrians.

He will go straight into the Carlisle squad for Saturday's crucial game away at Tranmere Rovers.

Both teams are tied on 39 points with Tranmere occupying the place above the drop zone thanks to their superior goal difference.

Dawson has yet to make a first team appearance for the Potters but was an unused substitute in the UEFA Europa League away games against both Besiktas and Valencia.
