Four Changes For Dallas

STOKE CITY boss Mark Hughes made four changes to his starting line-up for Saturday evening's pre-season friendly against FC Dallas, in Texas.

Matthew Etherington recovered from a knock to start, whilst Glenn Whelan, Wilson Palacios and Trinidad and Tobago skipper Kenwyne Jones was also handed a spot in the first eleven.

The rest of the team was unchanged from Wednesday's match in Houston with Asmir Begovic ushering a back four that comprised of Geoff Cameron, Ryan Shawcross, Robert Huth and Erik Pieters.

The midfield quintet featured Jonathan Walters on the right flank alongside Whelan, Steven Nzonzi, Palacios and the returning Etherington.

Jones, who starred for his native in the CONCACAF Gold Cup recently, was named as the lone striker, as Hughes deployed a 4-5-1 looking formation.

STOKE CITY: Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross (C), Huth, Pieters; Walters, Nzonzi, Whelan, Palacios, Etherington; Jones. Subs: Sorensen, Muniesa, Wilson, Adam, Kightly, Crouch, Wilkinson, Shotton, Jerome, Keane, Cuvelier.
