Half Season Tickets On Sale

STOKE CITY supporters can secure their seat for big games against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United at the Britannia Stadium . . . and enjoy at least two games free of charge when they commit to a 2012-13 Half Season Ticket.

In confirming that their Half Season Ticket package will feature eleven Barclays Premier League matches this season, the Club have highlighted considerable savings which do, in fact, amount to three home games free of charge in some cases.

An adult purchasing a Half Season Ticket in the Boothen End, Marston's Pedigree Stand or Family Area can actually make a saving equivalent to three matchday tickets for Premier League fixtures classed as Category B in the Club's price structure.

There are also significant savings to be made in the other areas of the Britannia Stadium, with particular emphasis on encouraging more young people and families to purchase one of them for the second half of the 2012-13 campaign.

A Half Season Ticket holder can secure their chosen seat at the Britannia Stadium for a programme of Premier League fixtures kicking off with the Boxing Day visit of Liverpool and including meetings with Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Often considered to be an excellent Christmas gift, Half Season Tickets are now on sale, giving supporters a good opportunity to consider this package as a cost effective alternative to purchasing match tickets for each of those fixtures.

"There are significant savings to be made with a Half Season Ticket which, in many cases, effectively means you can see at least two matches free charge and, in some instances, benefit even more than that," explained City's Chief Executive Tony Scholes.

"The other major benefit of a Half Season Ticket is that it secures a seat for all those Premier League games when demand for tickets is high, especially when we have the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham still to come."

He added: "The fact that a Half Season Ticket has proved to be a very popular Christmas gift means that this offer starts from Boxing Day and the fixture programme has presented us with eleven home matches from that point onwards.

"We have taken this into account in setting prices for the Half Season Tickets, so ensuring that, to a large extent, potential savings range from 11% to 22%, although in the case of Under-11s in the Family Area that saving is 30%.

"The growing number of young people among our Season Ticket holders and the record-breaking success of our City 7s scheme have been prominent features of the Club's progress in recent years. It is important that we do all we can to continue that trend and attract more families, so this pricing structure reflects that desire."

In that respect, the Club have also pointed to a specific pricing level for Under-21s with Half Season Tickets which is not available for match ticket prices.

An Under-21 can make a substantial saving by purchasing a Half Season Ticket when compared to the prices they would have to pay for adult match tickets.

Prices start from £88.00 for Under-11s in the Family Area, which works out at just £8.00 per game, and from £275.00 for adults in the Boothen End, Marston's Pedigree Stand and Family Area where that saving equivalent to three Category B matches can be made.
