Local Lad Greets Youngsters

A FRESHLY SHAVEN Andy Wilkinson was the star guest at the second City 7s Presentation Evening of the season last night.

The local-born defender met more than 100 young Potters fans at the Britannia Stadium and presented them all with a home shirt, goodie bag and pair of tickets for a forthcoming home game.

Whilst many people may not have recognised him sporting a new look during Saturday's game against West Bromwich Albion, Wilkinson has since returned to his normal style and joined City mascot Pottermus at the event.

He took time out to sign autographs and take part in an exclusive Q&A session for the lucky youngsters and their parents.

City 7s is a scheme open to all children whose seventh birthday falls between September 2013 and August 2014 and by joining for just £10, the young supporter will receive the following gifts:

- A Stoke City home shirt for the 2013-14 season
- Two free tickets to see the Potters at the Britannia Stadium
- A £5 voucher to open or add to a Co-operative bank account

The two tickets for one of City's home matches will be for one adult and one junior and the particular game will be decided by the Club.

Applications are still be taken by the Club and anyone wishing to join can download the application form by clicking HERE.
