A UNIQUE signed Stoke City shirt commemorating 'The Greatest 7 Since The Greatest 7' is now being offered in a special auction in support of the Sir Stanley Matthews Foundation.
The shirt has been signed by the seven Potters stars who were recently voted as the favourites to wear that particular number since the great man himself, Sir Stanley Matthews.
The poll was carried out in the lead-up to Sir Stanley Matthews Day last season with the aim of generating valuable help for the Foundation through the Club's own Community Fund.
Terry Conroy was voted as the Greatest 7 Since The Greatest 7 with Liam Lawrence, Adrian Heath, Carl Beeston, Kevin Keen, Toddy Orlygsson and Jimmy Robertson finishing in the top seven.
Since that vote was conducted earlier this year, the Community team have travelled far and wide to obtain the signatures of those players who feature among that select number of stars.
The auction will now run until midnight on Friday 28th September and bids can be submitted to [email protected] giving name and full contact information.
The Club's website, stokecityfc.com, will carry regular updates of the highest bidder for this special memento, particularly in the countdown to the deadline.
The Greatest 7 Since The Greatest 7 has been organised by the Stoke City Community Trust to raise a significant sum of money for the Sir Stanley Matthews Foundation.
