Hughes outlined his hopes for the new campaign in a special Question & Answer session and also discussed the impact made during pre-season by the Potters' five summer signings.
The appearance of the manager was highlight of the event, which gave seasonal corporate clients the opportunity to receive a thank you gift from the Club, as well as their passes for the new season which gets underway on Saturday week with a visit from Aston Villa.
The food suppliers the Club will be using throughout the season were also in attendance and guests, which also included especially selected non-seasonal clients, were able to get a taste of what's in store. Club caterers ABM also provided tasters of match-day menus.
The event was also an opportunity to highlight what the Commercial department can offer, including conferencing facilities, Christmas parties, event planning, birthday and family hospitality packages, shirt sponsorships, group tickets, retail and merchandise and mascot opportunities.
