FORMER STOKE City stars Terry Conroy, Carl Beeston, Andy Griffin and Wayne Thomas will have their general and football knowledge put to the ultimate test later this week.

They will be taking part in a Mastermind challenge as part of a Sportsman's Evening being held at the Britannia Stadium on Thursday.

The quartet of ex-players will answer general knowledge questions before being tested on a memorable season of their choice from their career with the Potters.

The event, which will get underway at 7pm and finish at approximately 10.30pm, is to raise funds for the Stoke City Community Trust and Stoke City Ladies team.

Tickets, priced £15 which also includes a meal of chilli, rice and nachos, are available from the Community Office at the Britannia Stadium.
