Stoke City Football Club aims to provide an efficient and effective service to all members of the media.
PRE-MATCH PRESS CONFERENCES
The Club usually hold a pre-match press conference prior to every game.
For a Saturday game, they are normally held in the Press Room at the Clayton Wood Training Ground, on a Thursday morning.
Manager Tony Pulis attends, with details of the venue, time, and attendees being confirmed via e-mail to members of the Club's Media Database before the event.
Anyone wishing to be added to the Media Database should contact the Media & Communications Department via e-mail at email@example.com.
Applications for press, media and photography accreditation should be made at least 48 hours prior to a match via the Premier League's i-PBS system.
The press, media and photographers should note that their applications will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by a valid Premier League Licence Number.
The Britannia Stadium has over 120 press seats and a television gantry situated at the top of the Q-railing Stand Upper Tier, as well as a Media Suite that is available before, during and after games.
Complimentary wireless internet access is available in the Media Suite, Press Box and Photographers' Room throughout a matchday.
A limited number of ISDN lines are available and any requests for one should be made with the initial accreditation request.
The Club operate a strict Players' Tunnel policy and only people contractually entitled to enter the tunnel will be allowed to do so. Any other organisations can put forward a request for the Mixed Zone, situated pitchside near the entrance to the tunnel.
Car parking is available on the South Car Park, subject to availability. If approved, car park passes can be collected from the steward in the clearly signposted layby on the approach to the Britannia Stadium.
These requests should all be made with the initial application.
Press, Media & Photographers should report to the Media Reception, to the right of the Q-railing Stand Main Entrance adjacent to Turnstile 7, from 3 hours prior to kick off.
You will need to sign in as you enter. You will then be given a complimentary Matchday Magazine, whilst Stat Packs are also available.
The Press Box is situated on Level 3 of the Q-railing Stand where Chief Media Steward Les Scarrett and an IT Technician are on hand to help out with any requests.
Photographers also have their own room and need to pick up a numbered bib at this point to wear pitchside. Any photographer not returning the bib will be invoiced £50 by the Premier League.
Team sheets are made available in both the Media Suite, the Photographers' Room and the Press Box prior to kick-off.
The Media Suite hasa selection of hot food and drinks available from 90 minutes prior to kick-off.
Soup and sandwiches are also available at half-time on a first come first served basis.
Usually, both Tony Pulis and the visiting club's manager will be brought into the Media Suite after the game.
Members of the media who have a Mixed Zone pass will also have the opportunity to request interviews with players.
The visiting club's press officer is granted access to all areas, and any members of the media wishing to speak to a visiting player should speak to the visiting club's media representatives directly.
The Media Suite and Photographers' Room will both close 90 MINUTES after the final whistle.
