New Boys On The Bench

MARK HUGHES has named an unchanged Stoke City starting line-up for this afternoon's Premier League encounter with Manchester City at the Britannia Stadium.

Deadline day signings Marko Arnautovic and Stephen Ireland are among the substitutes - as is Jermaine Pennant who bagged the match-winner in the Potters' last outing against West Ham a fortnight ago after stepping off the bench.

Glenn Whelan has recovered from the hamstring injury he sustained while away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland to take his place on the bench.

Team: Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Pieters; Walters, Nzonzi, Adam, Wilson, Etherington; Jones. Subs: Sorensen, Whelan, Pennant, Palacios, Arnautovic, Crouch, Ireland.
