STOKE CITY'S forthcoming Barclays Premier League game against Newcastle United has today had its kick-off date changed.

The encounter at St James' Park was originally pencilled in to take place on Saturday, 9th March (3pm), however, due to the Magpies progression in the Europa League, the game will now take place on Sunday, 10th March.

Alan Pardew's side secured their qualification from the round of 32 in the competition last night, meaning they will now undertake the first leg of their last 16 encounter on the Thursday night prior to the scheduled clash against the Potters.

A new kick-off time for this date has yet to be determined.
