PETER ODEMWINGIE has been handed his debut by Mark Hughes in tonight's Barclays Premier League clash with Sunderland.
The former West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff City forward replaces Jonathan Walters in the starting line-up, in one of four changes made from the side that was defeated by Chelsea at the weekend.
Oussama Assaidi returns as well, in place of Marko Arnautovic, whilst Charlie Adam and Glenn Whelan come into the team for Stephen Ireland and Wilson Palacios.
Gus Poyet makes nine changes to his Sunderland side following the weekend defeat of Kidderminster Harriers, with only Sebastian Larsson and Jozy Altidore still in the team; Lee Cattermole doesn't make the matchday squad.
